What is Misamisnon USA, Inc.?
Misamisnon-USA Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization servicing those of Misamis Occidental in the Philippines.
What do we do?
As a non-profit, our main goal is to provide aid to the impoverished areas of Misamis Occidental. We do this by holding biennial medical missions in the various cities and towns of the province, in which health services are provided to citizens in need of such care.
What have we done so far?
Misamisnon-USA Inc. was first established in 1993 by founder Fabs Apepe, and is currently presided by President, Joe B. Manalastas. Since 2003, we have held nine medical missions and helped 52,529 indigent patients and families. Our 10th medical mission will take place on July 11-16, 2022.
In 2008, on behalf of the works of the organization, Joe B. Manalastas was awarded the "Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice" Vatican Award - the highest award to the Laity for medical missions.

2021 Distribution Updates
The distribution of medicines began in September of 2021 through the help of Dr. Faith Go of Oroquieta. Over 2,500 indigent patients were served.
In November, used clothes and groceries were distributed in Bgy Balintawak, Ozamis to 200 families in memory of Sr. Violeta Navarro.
Distribution of Used Clothing 2020
We distributed used clothing and groceries to 516 families in August 2020 by Sr Violeta Navarro & her congregation. These were shipped in April with medicines by Misamisnon. The medicines were given to Dra Faith Guirnela Go in Oroquieta for her indigent patients.
Despite the effects of the pandemic, we still wanted to provide resources during these troubling times.
